Well, the opening time of the Tashilhunpo Monastery is from the nine o’clock to the seventeen o’clock. What is more, the temple is not opened from the twelve o’clock to the fourteen o’clock. And after the boat, there is the vehicle which is willing to receive the people to the Samye monastery; it will spend you five Yuan. And the bus is comfortable and convenient. I think it will be well with the train travel from Chengdu to Lhasa, and better than the travel to Everest base camp. Although the road is terrible, the wind is strong, there is a lot of sand, but you will be exciting when you are in bus. The monastery is common in the Tibet, but the Samye monastery is unique and special in the several temples. You will spend a special time in the quiet temple, the birds, the flower, the bell tone, and the magnificent building. Nowadays Lhasa, except the many tourists, there are so many beggar. Especially in the square of the Jokhang temple; there are a lot of the beggar come together in crowds; and the method also each showing his special prowess, make the people who come to the Lhasa firstly lost his or her head. Just think about that, if there is a little child throws himself on your leg; you can not move, can not beat him; also it is no use to abuse him; how embarrassed it is!

A Lhasa’s friend tell me that all the Lamas of the temple who also get the treat as the civil servant, moreover, there are lots of the Buddhism believers enshrine and worship; the real Lama mainly need not to get out to beg along the street. The third of the unique skill: do not said “I have no changes” to the beggars.

    The Tibet is the minority nationality regions, you should be careful when you talk. I came across a situation like this: on one occasion, I and my two friends had the meal in the noodle restaurant, and there was a beggar who disguised himself as the Lama came in the restaurant and asked for the money; I spoke without thinking that “you are the fake Lama”. And then I made that people anxious, indignant and disturbed, pointed at me and said “whereby you speak I am a fake Lama?”, and by the time, he fished out the so-called evidence from the bosom. The sideways Tibet woman looked about this and immediately fish out one yuan to that person, and then sent him out.
