you can always witness this yak heads in some places such as prayer flags and Mani piles. They are in lakeside of Namtso. So if you are willing to trek to Namtso, you will not only get charming view, but also find the unique yak head.
Tibetan also like yak very much, there are some unique copper yak sculptures in Beijing road of Lhasa. They call these as “treasure of plateau”.
