Tibet, the magic land

The holy city Lhasa is the capital of Tibet; it is an ancient city with thousands of year’s history. It is very quiet, even though in the Barkhor Street. There also is not bustle in the visible and busting crowd. The mountain has few green trees around the city, in addition to the speckled green which grows and cling on the ground. The entire mountain looks grey, and contrast sharply with the blue sky, it is like covering a veil, and it is full of mysterious in the break feeling.

So, I would rather make an analogy that the Lhasa is like a knowledgeable older man. Not only because its special landform, but also it has the Potala Palace, the Jokhang temple and the Romache temple.

All the people who make a tour to Lhasa cherish the devout and advocate, and the kind expectation. Hundreds of years ago, the Wen Cheng princess from Tang Dynasty came to Lhasa for a long distance and to be the angel of the Sino-Tibetan friendship. Songtsen Gampo built the majestic Potala Palace for marry Wen Cheng princess. Later, what is more, it takes more important historical mission which becomes a religious center of Tibet. Look up at the Potala Palace, it stands erect in the blue sky, the unique architectural construction is pretty majestic. And inside the Palace, it is resplendent and magnificent, very bright, and many of the scriptures that let you feel there are too many things to see. The unquenchable butter lamp send out the flavor of the butter, it is full of mysterious feeling.

At the door of the Jokhang temple, the crowd is so busy. The countless believers prostrate and worship the gods of the heart; the stones of the ground are shine, because it is grinded by the pilgrims’ hands. The weather of Lhasa, changes a lot of in a day, at that time the burning sun like the fire, but suddenly, a dark cloud floating in the sky, and then a heavy rain fall down, there are some rain in the pit on the not flat ground. However, it makes no effect to the people who make the worship; they are distractions, even if all of their body is soaking, and regardless of that.

If Lhasa is an old man, Nyingchi is a strong man and the Namsto is a charming and graceful beauty.

Namsto which called in Mongolian is " Tengri nor ", meaning "heavenly lake", it is the highest elevation of the lagoon in the world. Starting from Lhasa to Namsto, there are nearly three hours to sit in the car. It is like your train from Chengdu to Lhasa. Far away, when the pure blue of the Namsto came into sight, I cannot use any words to describe the feeling of my heart. As if I come to the fairyland on earth, came to the world where is pure and without a hint of the impurities.
