Peach flowers and Snow Mountain gets together

The culture of Tibet is extensive and profound; view of Tibet is unparalleled; Tibetan is kind and goodness. These short days cannot ever reflect its real beauty and intension. But I hope intensively that the view what is recorded by my camera is just like a drip, although it is tininess, I want to it can set off radiance of sun.

Historical and pure village

Warm March, we are in a place where is full of peach flowers.

Nyingchi means “excellent site of sun” in Tibetan, as far as various areas are concerned, it is indeed real place where sun rise up in ever day. Nyingchi is located in downstream of Brahmaputra River; average elevation is about three kilometers; the lowest elevation is only nigh hundred meters. Climate is well, view is charming. The green Nyingchi can not do without embrace of big mountain; Himalayas and Nyainqentanglha Range is like two big dragons which stretch from west to east; Namjagbarwa is like dragon ridge, its elevation is 7782 meters, and it is the highest snow mountain of Himalaya’s south part;

Sky is so closed, just like the background of village.

Peach flowers of Nyingchi are famous.

In spring, Nyingchi’s bloom peach flowers get together with cloud-kissing snow mountain; it makes people feel like it is magnificent, beautiful and pure. Always along road, golden rape flowers, pink peach flowers and other wild flowers make us simile and jump. When full-bodied fragrant permeate into soul little by little, natural and unrestrained feel is so exciting; those lively lives also are so beautiful that make us soul-stirring and unprepared, have nothing for it but show our extreme admiration for that. Craze for flowers, there is no regret in this life. Stamp on the melody of spring, catch this luxuriant beauty.

World of Mountain and water

 Among mountains, beside riverside, on road, one and other trees are in full bloom step by step. Willows all spit verdure after the whole winter’s loneliness. Bright and beautiful branches sway all vitality with gentle wind. Under the sunset, it is like a view oil painting, one and other Tibetan buildings are so beautiful that let us suspect it is not man’s world.

Peach flowers are all over the mountains and plains

Set out from Lhasa to Nyingchi, its elevation is about 2.5 kilometers. Pass though Dazi and Maizhokunggar County, climb Mira Snow Mountain, and then go by “Jiuzhaigou valley of Tibet” and Basum Lake, enjoy the beauty of Yanghe and witness Chief cornerstone; it is about 410 kilometers. Condition of the road is well, generally, the general car should pass. What should be attention is that maybe there is collapse occasionally in rain season. Well, it maybe takes you eight hours if you take picture and go on with your journey.

Sunshine impales sky

Mountain color is green onion, water and river is pure and silence. When we are in the desolation and poor Tibet impression, Nyingchi which is called “Jiangnan of Tibet” come to our eyes unbelievable. Luxuriantly green plants cover all of the mountains, stack with distant white snow mountain. Leisure cloud also become lithe and happy because of water, twine among mountains. Yanghe which is from Mira Mountain gladly follow with us and go on with us silently. River water is just like jade, it is so glittering and translucent that make us can not help but want to drink; we must feel cold but clear. Winding river arouse lots of white and pure spray when meet curve. Suddenly, a kind of adjective comes to my mind which Tibetan describe Tibetan rivers: flying flowers and smash jade. How beautiful and appropriate the imagination is!

Rapid rivers

Brahmaputra is located in north of Nyingchi area, length is about 504.6 kilometers, limit depth is 6009 meters. No matter depth or length, Brahmaputra Grand Canyon is ranked forefront among worldly several canyons. After Brahmaputra pass Milin country of Nyingchi area, making Namjagbarwa Mountain as axle, it makes a big flashback of 180 degree, and then forms a rare big canyon which is like a horseshoe. It is better to witness it in high place that you can look its infinity charm of whole view, mountains and lakes.   

Beautiful scene of Basum Lake

 Basum Lake is located in deep canyon of Urubamba’s upstream; it is a famous holy lake and holy land of Mongolian Lamaism. Although Basum Lake hides in mountain canyon which is far from country, it is famous by world people as its luxuriant forest and the pure pool; it becomes one of the earliest views of Nyingchi which are know by people. Lake water is clear to witness the bottom. All around, Snow Mountains reflect in water, wild duck, gull and whit crane swim on the lake surface, so charming.        

Tibetan area characteristic

Nyingchi is connect with Yunnan in east, Nagchu in north; and in southwest, it is neighbor with Lhasa and Shannan area; south border on Indian and Burma. Also, there is settlement of national minority. Always to current day, their life habit and region believe still retain strong nation amorous feelings. After you have arrived in this land, you can hear the old man represent historical legends, understand pure custom and clan, and then join in totemism activity. Wow, add a natural, mysterious and original color for journey.

You should never miss this journey of natural green gene pool if you get to Nyingchi. In here, original views of forest are kept perfectly; Tibetan Guper which is tall and straight in plateau, fir which is from Himalaya, tree fern which is called plant living fossil, and other hundreds cuckoo flowers are from soup to nuts. It is said that there are wild people appear in Sarong Lake area. Nyingchi owns unusual abundant plants and wild animal resources. You can pack your bag and take picture slowly, at the same time, enjoy in that when you are on the way.

Lodging

In some place, its transportation is not convenient as outside, you can take Qinghai-Tibet railway into Tibet, but it is not easy in all places. Because of lag of tour transportation, lodging of Nyingchi area is relative rough. Hotel and lodging is generally focused on the country which transportation is more developed, Such as Bayi Town. If you travel in Grand Canyon area, you can choose to have a rest in local people’s home. But do remember that do in Rome as Rome dose, must respect local tradition and life habit; surely, you can take tent to encamp. 

Food

Beside that food of Nyingchi always carry on as before traditional flavor, such as highland barley beer, zanba, butter, buttered tea, also there are some special national minority foods. Such as the Lhoba nationality, their most special food is bake mouse, generally, it is for honorable people.

A special Tibet, a special spring which you would never meet, it is the right time that you can make a plan for your Tibet travel. Take your camera, pack your bag, call your friends… think out of time and work, just set out!
